November 2008, the Age of Information Technology

My kids are pros at text messaging on their phones, and now they’ve got me started, too.  I never would’ve thought I would be doing it, but hey, it’s kind of fun.  All those abbreviations and acronyms, I’ve always been a sucker for word games.  I’m finally learning what all those letter combinations stand for.  Like, for example – OMG – means “our Marshfield Guild”.  Cool, huh?  Yeah, and BFF is “best floral fabric”.  I really think I’m getting the hang of it.  It’s a lot of fun, you really should try it if you haven’t already.  I’m including a list of the popular abbreviations so you can get yourself ‘in the know’…

Hate to cut you short, but I have stuff to do.  Maybe we should get together sometime, LMAO.  We can have a sewing play day, bring TTYL, and don’t WTF.  I have some BFF, and IMHO too.  Don’t mind my house, IDK, there’s ROFL and LOL, but we’ll work around it.  It’ll be fun!
